It appears that the registration forms are coming in fast! Not that it will happen BUT it is possible we could limit the number of competitors due to the fact we only have 3 days to complete the competition.

I highly recommend that we get our registration forms in now and not wait till the last minute as it could be a sellout.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Any International Competitors that plan on attending the USWA International Open please contact the USWA International/Nationals Event Host Island Waveskis as they will hook you up with best places to stay and give you all the information you will need to have a great time and great surf. Also do not forget to call or email for the U.S. International Class registration as space may be limited.

Besides the event and the surfing I can pretty much guarantee that whether you bring the family or you attend alone, you will have a great time! Cocoa is within a short driving distance to Orlando's Disney and Epcot, Cape Canaveral's Space Shuttle (can be seen from contest site), Daytona Beach party town and race track, Sebastian Inlets famous surf and less than 4 hours to South Beach Miami has amazing night life if you want to make a day (night) trip, Cocoa beach is centrally located near many cool places. Everything to do, great family amusements, GREAT Night life! What more can I say, Overall, ideal location for fun.

Mark your calendar! September U.S. National Championships! Reply with quote Edit/Delete this post Delete this post View IP address of poster
Come Surf with the BEST Paddle Surfers from The United States & International Competitors from all over the World! The first BIG Waveski event in the United States in years!

Mark your calenders! September U.S.National Championships!
The first US Nationals will be HUGE with competitors showing up from
all over the United States and from other countries.

We have selected September as the date because historically September has the highest probability of great consistent surf conditions. Waves are historically really good at this particularly time of year because of all the Atlantic Storm activity. Cocoa Beach carries as good a swell as most any beach breaks on the East Coast. Most of you will find a pair of surf baggies is all you need to surf with, yes the water is warm, come on in!

The United States Waveski National Championships will be held

September 28th 29th and 30th in Cocoa Beach Florida

Where?

On the Beach at host motel

Anthonys On The Beach
3499 South Atlantic Ave.
Cocoa Beach, Fla.

Note**Call now for room reservations before the contest site hotel is filled up**

The National Championships this year will be sponsored and organized by Roy & Pam Scafidi from Island WaveSki who are VERY experienced at running National and World events. They will absolutely run a top notch event with competitors from all over.

If you have any questions about the contest or the area please direct them to Island Waveski.

Due to logistics etc..the US Nationals should be held on the West Coast of the United States at a place and time to be announced in 2008 as we will alternate the locations of the Nationals from East to West coast year to year if we can. West coast guys, do not fret as we are working on your contest scene, we need promoters and organizers on the west coast. We will keep everyone fully informed as we learn more.

Any questions, best to call me at my work# in evenings at
9five4-4nine3-88one1 as its too hard to respond to multiple emails
and USWA posts. I can also do a better job explaining in person.

See you there!
