I experienced the sweet taste of moonshine last night...

No, I don't drink, but was in the water surfing about 1.5 hrs after sundown. Not big - chest/shoulder, but no wind, glassy water, and a full moon. A rare treat for us here...
Got in the water at 4:30 for a quickie, but came out at almost 7:00, a nice 2.5-hour after work session.
I noticed something weird at the end. With minimal light, I was peeling off the back of the waves when I went high since I wasn't used to the low light. So, once I started "feeling" the wave, I did a lot better and stayed on the waves. Just when I thought I was getting a lot better at relying less on the paddle and trying to feel the wave, I got a dose of reality when I couldn't see much.
Was fun and interesting.
