although I do not know of a waveski rental... The jersey paddler will let you demo one in small waves for a fee. this fee is then applied to your purchase.

Now, I DO have a spare you can use. call me and we can go surf. 732-674-8861.

There are few if any rental HP Waveskis available (Except Island Waveski in Cocoa, give them a call) I am aware of because most are custom made per riders feet to seat and many can be broken easily by a newbie.

However there are beginner and/or adjustable waveskis in all different price ranges that you may be able to rent/borrow. This is a small niche sport, not like the tens of thousands of WW boats etc.. so its unlikely you will find many rentals. However you will find almost everyone willing to let you test there Waveskis.

Best chance to demo different Waveskis at one time is to show up for USWA contest, you will be able to sample dozens of style waveski types, including many that will fit you like a glove.

Meanwhile, if your interested in trying one, post a time and place where you will be at a beach under the hookup forums or ask where other waveskiers will be and if you can try there Waveskis, that will be the only way to demo them, you will also make a friend or two possibly ;')

If you happen to live anywhere near the Carolinas or Florida you are in luck because many members are in these regions and surf frequently. Don't forget to give your size before showing up so you don't drive hours to find you do not fit at all.

So if you want to try some, follow my advice..

Regards
Brian Kuszmar

Post Thanks for the info. Cocoa Beach might be the best bet. Reply with quote
Wish I didnt have to be back in school when the contest in September is going on. I might be able to make it there the week before though.

Geno...thanks for the invite. If I end up in New York instead of Cocoa Beach I'll definitely give you a call...........Bryan
